FAQ

What makes USR different?

USR has a vast amount of experience in real estate, and many years ago we recognized that traditional real estate methods were not assisting the consumer. USR with the best minds in real estate developed two proprietary programs designed to assist the consumer in a way that the consumer actually benefits from the sale of their property while in foreclosure. USR uses a proprietary attorney driven process to negotiate with lenders to effectuate a settlement for the client which is in favor of the client. USR does not charge for its analysis and this makes us different.

Does USR charge for it’s services?

No. Us Residential does not charge for it's services. USR provides free information regarding its programs, analysis of the clients current situation, and customer service throughout the entire process.

USR has never charged a client nor will they.

How does USR make it’s money?

USR is a real estate based company. Providing two programs to the client. At the end of litigation or negotiation with the lender, USR may purchase the property from the homeowner for the negotiated settlement amount. USR then resells the home on the open market and USR realizes a profit from the resale and then shares that profit with the homeowner - creating a win-win for USR and the homeowner.

Why haven’t I heard of USR before?

USR does not market in the traditional sense. Marketing using traditional methods, is very expensive and those costs would need to be passed on to the consumer. USR does not charge the consumer for its services. USR markets through real estate professionals and word of mouth in an effort to provide service at no cost to the consumer.

Why can’t I just do a short sale?

A traditional short sale typically requires the approval of the mortgage company for the sale to proceed. However, the mortgage company does not necessarily have your best interests in mind, and will be most focused on maximizing its own recovery from the sale. In order to obtain the best result for you from the sale of your property, you need an attorney who can advocate for your interests throughout the foreclosure and litigation process.

Is the attorney my attorney or do they represent USR?

The attorney is yours and yours alone. The attorney does not represent USR.

The FTC says an audit is of no value and in no way will assist my attorney. Why should I pay for one?

An audit is a valuable tool for your attorney. The information contained in an audit will assist your attorney to evaluate your claims and prepare your defenses. Furthermore, the cost of the audit is far less than what it would cost for your attorney to do the work and produce the same information.
